Prince Alfred College has had boarders at the school since it opened in 1869, in June 2019 exactly 150 years since the first boarders started at the college the 3rd and New Boarding House Facilities were officially opened. This unique set up has 150 boarders, 3 families and 4 single staff all living under the one roof.
